French Politician Dati Slams Government’s Delayed Action on Radical Imam’s Expulsion

The day after the Council of State’s order validating the expulsion of Imam Hassan Iquioussen, Rachida Dati, former Keeper of the Seals, denounced the inaction of the political class in this case.
"This decision comes with a delayed effect, it should have come much earlier," declared the Republican mayor of the 7th arrondissement of Paris, on Europe 1, stressing that the imam Hassan Iquioussen had already made criminal remarks about the 2015 attacks.
At that time, the preacher had claimed that "these attacks are not real attacks, at a time when everyone is in a state of shock," she recalled, denouncing the silence of the Hollande government. "Nothing is done, neither Mrs. Taubira, nor Mr. Hollande, no one reacts," she lamented.
"Freedom is not to leave time bombs on European territory," Rachida Dati continued.
To recall, the imam Hassan Iquioussen, currently on the run, is registered in the file of wanted persons. The police, who had gone to his home on Tuesday, did not find him.
