French Man Convicted in Morocco Sheep Massacre Pursues Legal Action Against Witness

The case of the Frenchman Michel S., sentenced to one month in prison for savagely massacring a herd of sheep belonging to a young shepherd with his car on the David beach near Mohammedia in May 2020, is resurfacing. This time, he is the plaintiff.
The case of Frenchman Michel S. is not closed. After serving his one-month sentence and paying a 20,000 DH fine in damages, he had filed a lawsuit against Mohammed Zerhani, the young man who had immortalized the massacre of the herd of sheep in images, without success. The former pizzaiolo of the Club des Pins, on the Assanaoubar beach (also known as the David beach), accused Mohammed of having uttered insults and death threats against him. But the prosecution dismissed the case.
Dissatisfied with the outcome of his complaint, the French national is coming back. He is filing a new complaint against Mohammed Zerhani, on the same charges. This time, his complaint is deemed admissible, reports Le360. A trial should open before the same first instance court in Benslimane that had sentenced him on Wednesday, April 5.
