The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Jean-Yves le Drian, is asked to provide explanations on the repatriation of French people blocked in the Maghreb, mainly in Morocco. Today, despite the special repatriation flights already carried out, there are still more than 10,000 French people still blocked in Morocco since the closure of air borders. Responding to the Franco-Moroccan deputy, the minister indicated that several measures have already been taken. Additional flights and boats have already been chartered to accelerate their repatriation to France.

Regarding those blocked in Morocco, 150 special flights in one month have made it possible to repatriate 30,000 people to France, while 5,000 French tourists were waiting at the end of April to be repatriated home by the weekly special flights, informs the French embassy. The same source reports that several thousand French people have also left Tunisia and Algeria, even if many others are patiently waiting their turn.
