Morocco Expands Air and Sea Routes to Repatriate French Citizens

The repatriation of French blocked in Morocco is at the center of discussions between the Moroccan authorities, the Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs and the Secretary of State for Transport.
Between June 8 and 25, a special reinforced program of 60 flights will be set up by the company Transavia, between the airports of Casablanca, Marrakech and Paris.
Air France is also continuing its weekly program of seven flights from Marrakech and Casablanca, including two flights with wide-body aircraft.
Regarding maritime links between Morocco and Europe, a ship from the company La Méridionale arrived on Friday in Marseille from Nador, five crossings are set up by the company Balearia, between June 5 and 9 towards Malaga. Following an agreement negotiated between the French and Spanish authorities, passengers will be able, on an exceptional basis, to return to France by using only the motorway and the possibility of spending one night on a rest area.
Finally, a maritime link operated by the GNV company is also scheduled between the port of Tanger-Med and Sète on June 9. It should be noted that all these repatriation options are organized by the consulates.
