French Firm Unveils Advanced Autonomous Vehicle Prototype in Morocco

Present in Morocco since 2012, FAAR Pronergy, the French company specializing in mobility and energy, has just unveiled its new production: a robotized vehicle "equipped with state-of-the-art technologies".
The French company presented this prototype at the 2025 edition of the Workshop on Embedded Electronic Systems, recently organized at the Higher School of Technology (EST) in Salé. "The autonomous vehicle is equipped with the latest generation of on-board systems, including technologies such as radar, lidar, GPS, cameras, as well as control systems that can be piloted via dedicated applications, compatible with PC or smartphone-type interfaces," explains Éric Nang-Tchee, the company’s technical director, to Médias24.
This vehicle "offers fully automated driving, adaptable to different speed, operation and usage levels," added the manager, specifying that it is also equipped with "advanced perception systems" and "precise localization technologies".
The Pronergy autonomous vehicle will be used for academic training, technology demonstrations and real-world testing. "Our offer includes a ready-to-use vehicle, technical documentation, training and personalized support. We provide full support, from design to implementation," says Khalid Ayouche, CEO of FAAR Pronergy, stressing that the company uses "electronic and mechanical equipment developed in Morocco, such as electricity and mechanical assembly".
The French company’s subsidiary aims "to provide vehicles adapted to local needs, to strengthen the Moroccan industrial ecosystem [...], to train experts in autonomous mobility and to integrate this technology into the defense and security sectors," the manager points out.
