French Culture Minister Rachida Dati Vacations in Morocco, Dines with Locals

Rachida Dati, the French Minister of Culture, is currently in Morocco, her country of origin, where she is enjoying her vacation.
Rachida Dati is staying in the Moroccan capital, Rabat, where she has visited several tourist sites and savored Moroccan dishes in a famous restaurant in the coastal town of Harhoura.
The director of the TerraCota restaurant confirmed to the site Rue20 that Rachida Dati had her lunch in his establishment and showed great humility by exchanging with the customers and sharing their table. An attitude appreciated at its true value by the latter who immortalized this moment by taking photos with the minister.
Rachida Dati took the opportunity to reaffirm her satisfaction with France’s recent change of position on the Sahara. The French minister had campaigned for France to officially express its support for the Moroccan autonomy plan, a decision she described as historic.
Rachida Dati was one of the personalities invited by King Mohammed VI to the reception he offered on the occasion of the Throne Feast. She should be part of the delegation accompanying French President Emmanuel Macron on his next visit to Morocco announced for late September.
