French Comedian Sentenced to Prison in Morocco for Controversial Social Media Video

French comedian Brahim Bouhlel and influencer Zbarbooking have been sentenced to prison by the Moroccan justice system for posting an allegedly insulting video on social media.
In preventive detention for two weeks in Morocco, for "dissemination of a video of a person without his consent" and "corruption of a minor," French comedian Brahim Bouhlel and a Franco-Moroccan influencer known by the pseudonym "Zbarbooking" were sentenced respectively to eight months and one year of actual imprisonment, said their lawyer, Me Marouane Rghioui, to AFP.
