French Actor Gérard Lanvin Embraces Moroccan Lifestyle, Citing Affordability and Warmth

Like celebrities such as Gims, Adriana Karembeu and others, French actor Gérard Lanvin has chosen to spend more time in Morocco than in France for several years now. A fully assumed choice!
Lanvin explains why he has set his sights on Morocco where he owns a house. "There, our house with a garden, a vegetable garden and chickens is worth the price of a 2 square meter in Paris! People smile. I like the smells, cycling in the countryside and the sun is good for morale, skin, as well as knees and shoulders, where I’m starting to hurt. Normal, at 71 years old!" he said in an interview with Télé Star.
The actor assures that he did not choose to reside in Morocco to evade taxes in France, as some sources seem to imply. "I was told that I was opening my mouth while living in Morocco and not paying taxes. I don’t live in Morocco, I live between Morocco and France because we need warmth, we are people from the south. When I work, I’m in France, so I pay my taxes in France," he clarified.
And to continue: "I say that to relax all those who are obsessed with it! I don’t look at social media, so they can drool on me, it’s not my problem!" Morocco continues to attract sports celebrities and stars from the world of music and cinema.
