Fraud with Samaoui in Morocco: A sexagenarian robbed of her jewelry

The fraud with hypnosis (samaoui) continues to ravage in Morocco. In Salé, a sexagenarian was robbed of her valuables. An investigation is underway to identify the perpetrators.
Under hypnosis, a sexagenarian voluntarily handed over valuable jewelry and ornaments to a criminal gang specialized in Samaoui fraud, reports the website Rue20. After realizing that she had just been the victim of a theft under hypnosis, she filed a complaint with the security services. Currently, the elements of the judicial police and the unit against organized crime are conducting their investigations to identify the criminals involved in this fraud.
The Samaoui fraud is a formidable weapon used by outlaws to strip people, mostly women and the elderly, of their possessions. The modus operandi of the scammer is to be accompanied by a woman, certainly to gain the victim’s trust or other men. He poses as a marabout endowed with supernatural powers. His counterpart, who easily believes in the existence of supernatural power, falls into his trap. The scammer then offers to purify the possessions in his possession, making him believe that they are under the effect of a curse.
Under the influence of superstition, the victim consents and hands over all her possessions. Once the goods are "purified" and carefully packed in a package, the scammer returns them to the victim, ordering her not to open it until later, to prepare his escape. Later, when the victim realizes the deception, the scammer is already far away.
