Franco-Moroccan Leaders Urge Voters to Reject Far-Right Le Pen in French Election

For the second round of the presidential election in France, about twenty Franco-Moroccan personalities, from different backgrounds, have called to block the far-right candidate, Marine Le Pen.
Coming from diverse currents of thought and different sectors, the signatories warned in an op-ed that the far-right candidate "lies" when she claims that she would be the president of all the French if she managed to win the April 24 presidential election.
According to them, she has already "sorted out", with all that this word implies in horror. As Franco-Moroccans "we would not be, for her, on the +right side+", since she "excludes" and "divides".
Marine Le Pen "subtracts when we are - we - the children of addition!", they argued, adding: "+" is the sign of hope, of the future, "-" is that of contempt... "Christians, Jews, Muslims, veil or mini-skirt wearers, halal, kosher or vegans... will therefore be for her the criteria to be French?!", warned the collective.
Consequently, the authors asked to prevent the far-right candidate "from undoing France of always to make it a France of never!", stressing that "for us, for our children but also for our parents - who have contributed to building France, but very often do not have the opportunity to vote - on April 24 we, Franco-Moroccans, will block the far right by putting a Macron ballot in the ballot box".
