Franco-Moroccan Comedian Jamel Debbouze Wins Prestigious Adami Citizen Artist Award

Franco-Moroccan comedian Jamel Debbouze has won the prestigious Adami Prize for the Citizen Artist 2022 edition, awarded to artists who are involved in the service of society.
Jamel Debbouze thus succeeds Marc Lavoine for this distinction which particularly honors the civic commitment of an artist through his profession or his actions.
"The personality of Jamel Debbouze, deeply optimistic and full of hope for the younger generations, has been saluted," explained the organizer of the Adami Prize. The comedian received his award from the hands of Pierre Lescure, former president of Canal+.
Expressing his emotion and gratitude to the organizers, the Moroccan announced the payment of the entire check accompanying the prize, to the association Les Ami(e)s du Comedy Club, of which he is president.
