Franco-Moroccan Actor Jad Chkif Dies Suddenly at 41 During Morocco Visit

While he had come to Morocco to recharge his batteries, the Franco-Moroccan actor Jad Chkif will no longer return to Chartres in France, where he lives. He died suddenly on Friday, at the age of 41. His loved ones and friends, still in shock at this unexpected disappearance, mourn an experienced actor.
Born on July 4 in Chartres, Jad Chkif is a French actor of Moroccan origin, who became known in 2009 in the French TV movie "Rien dans les poches". No one in his entourage was able to give the causes of his death. "We still don’t know the cause of death, all I know is that he left us suddenly. May God have him in His holy mercy," reports Le360, citing one of his relatives.
On his Instagram account, the filmmaker Anouar Moatassim left a moving message, mourning the death of a loyal friend, with whom he had so many projects. "My brother ’Zmagri’ I love you, I hate that word, we dreamed together, but now I will continue to dream alone, because you are no longer there." He regrets that they were unable to bring some of their common projects to life. "We talked three days ago and laughed a lot. The angels will welcome you with open arms by the will of God."
In addition to his first TV movie, the actor also played in the feature film "À l’aube d’un 19 février" by director Anouar Moatassim, then "L’Orchestre de minuit" by Jérôme Cohen Olivar, in the series "Mille et une nuits", and "Switchers" by Ahmed Akssas, alias Actarus.
