France Reaffirms Morocco as Key Ally and EU Partner
The Quai d’Orsay stated on Tuesday, through the voice of its deputy spokesperson, that Morocco is "a great friendly country of France" with which it maintains an exceptional partnership and "a crucial partner of the European Union".
In reaction to the royal speech on the 68th anniversary of the Revolution of the King and the People, Najoua Medroumi stated that "Morocco is a great friendly country of France with which it maintains an exceptional partnership" and "a crucial partner of the European Union".
As for the relations between Rabat and Madrid which have experienced strong tensions, the Quai d’Orsay believes that "the relations between Morocco and Spain are close and solid and we have no doubt that the two countries will continue and amplify these strategic relations".
To recall, King Mohammed VI had also emphasized in his recent speech that the partnership and solidarity relations between Morocco and France are "supported by the solid relations of friendship and mutual esteem" that unite the Sovereign and President Emmanuel Macron.
