France Streamlines Visa Process for Moroccan Graduates of French Universities

France has introduced a new system to simplify visa applications for Moroccan alumni of French higher education.
In a video posted on X (formerly Twitter) on Monday, the French Embassy in Rabat announced the implementation of a new system for Moroccan graduates of French higher education who hold a master’s degree or equivalent, an engineering degree or a higher level such as a doctorate and who are registered on the France alumni platform. "This system will facilitate the scheduling of a visa appointment and the processing of your application. You will have specific appointment slots to submit your file. Visa applications will of course be processed in compliance with Schengen regulations, but with benevolence," explained Sandrine Lelong-Motta, Consul General of France in Rabat.
It emerges from her explanations that this is not an automatic issuance of visas to all applicants. "But if your file is complete, you will be able to obtain a travel visa valid for 1 to 5 years. This visa will allow you to enter France and circulate within the European Union on multiple occasions," specified Sandrine Lelong-Motta. Applicants can already start the procedures.
