Former Prodigy Hachim Mastour Struggles to Make Impact in Serie C

The ambition to become the best player in the world has inhabited Mastour since childhood. After the start of his career at US Reggio Calcio, a football school based in Reggio Emilia and linked to FC Internazionale Milano, he finally accepted in 2012 an offer from AC Milan, after having caught the eye of several other big clubs like Juventus, Inter Milan and Real Madrid.

However, the young prodigy who could readily be compared to Cristiano Ronaldo, due to "his speed, his ability to change pace, his superior dribbling skills and his ability to shoot well with both feet", did not survive the spotlight, notes the media.
