Former Morocco Star M’bark Boussoufa Signs with UAE’s Shabab Al-Ahli

At 36 years old, former vice-captain of the Atlas Lions, M’bark Boussoufa has signed with Shabab Al-Ahli in the United Arab Emirates. The former Moroccan international, who has been looking for a club for some time, will finally be able to settle down and showcase his skills.
The Moroccan player is thus replacing Uzbek midfielder Aziz Ganiev, who will be off the field for the next 6 months. In the Emirates, M’bark Boussoufa has already had an experience at Al Jazira between 2016 and 2018. He has been free of any commitment since 2019, after leaving the Emirati club Al-Shabab, reports le360.
He was one of those many Moroccan players whose professional trajectory was all mapped out but who did not enjoy the expected glory for long enough.
