Fenerbahçe Looks to Offload Moroccan Midfielder Nabil Dirar Amid Performance Concerns

The moment so dreaded by Moroccan international Nabil Dirar who plays for the Turkish club Fenerbahçe has arrived. He is part of a list of players who will have to leave the club.
The player already knew he was on thin ice. He had a bad season and is no longer in the good graces of the club’s officials. In addition, he is on the list of Atlas Lions that the coach has decided not to keep, because they are without clubs or because of their lack of performance both nationally and internationally. The management of Fenerbahçe would have asked the Moroccan international Nabil Dirar to find a club as soon as possible.
At 34, the midfielder would nevertheless be tracked by another Turkish club, Başakşehir, which would have contacted Fenerbahçe to find out about the terms of the player’s transfer.
Before landing in Turkey, Nabil Dirar had worn the FC Bruges jersey between 2008-2012, before joining AS Monaco. The Moroccan was transferred to Fenerbahçe in 2017, and has 32 games with the club, but has only managed to score 2 goals.
