Former Miss Ireland Holly Carpenter Rings in New Year with Romantic Marrakech Getaway

"We’re spending the first few days (of the new year) in Marrakech and it’s even more beautiful than I expected! [...] So happy to tick this place off our bucket list," writes the former Miss Ireland on her Instagram account. She accompanied her post with a few photos and a video of the couple’s vacation in the ochre city.

In the video, we see Holly Carpenter and Jamie Hunt on their way back to their hotel, the meanders of the alleys, tunnels and narrow streets. They stayed in a riad - a traditional Moroccan house built around an interior courtyard. The photos shared by the 31-year-old model also show a beautiful tiled garden with a fountain, orange trees and a sumptuous swimming pool.
