Former IMF Chief Strauss-Kahn Praises Morocco’s Strategic Importance to France

In an interview, Dominique Strauss-Kahn, former Managing Director of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and former French Minister of Economy, Finance and Industry, highlights the central role of Morocco in international cooperation, particularly for France.
"Morocco is more necessary for France than France is for Morocco," said Dominique Strauss-Kahn in an interview with L’Observateur. According to his explanations, "it is an ally with whom to work in Africa, while Morocco can have many other partners." The former Managing Director of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) says he is convinced that cooperation between Morocco and France "is a good thing." In love with Morocco, he feels Moroccan. "I who am of French nationality and I also feel Moroccan, it warms my heart. And it seems to me that the projects that have been announced are completely in the right direction," added the one who spent part of his childhood in Morocco.
For the past 16 years, Dominique Strauss-Khan has been living in Casablanca with his wife, Franco-Moroccan businesswoman Myriam L’Aouffir. The couple owns a sumptuous villa nestled in the heart of a palm grove, located about ten kilometers from Marrakech. In 2013, the former French minister founded the consulting firm "Parnasse International" in Morocco, which offers its services to African governments and private companies. For him, the kingdom is a land of opportunities.
"Morocco has great economic potential and offers huge investment opportunities," DSK stressed on May 11, 2023 during the 2nd edition of the "Days of Promotion and Investment", held in Dakhla at the initiative of the Agency for the Promotion of the city.
