Former IMF Chief Strauss-Kahn Attends Mother-in-Law’s Funeral in Marrakech

Dominique Strauss-Kahn (DSK), former Managing Director of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and former French Minister of Economy, Finance and Industry, participated in the funeral of his mother-in-law, Christine L’Aouffir, in Marrakech.
On Tuesday, Dominique Strauss-Kahn attended the funeral of Christine L’Aouffir at the European cemetery in Marrakech, in the presence of several family members and close friends. His mother-in-law is the mother of Franco-Moroccan businesswoman Myriam L’Aouffir, his wife whom he married on October 7, 2017, in Marrakech. For the past 12 years, the couple has been living in Morocco, where the former French minister owns a riad.
This week, Dominique Strauss-Kahn denied reports that he had acquired a large plot of land in the Sidi Mghait region south of the city of Asilah (Tangier province) and planned to build a resort there. "This published information is completely fanciful," Dominique Strauss-Kahn (DSK) clarified in a statement sent to Barlamane.com. However, he acknowledges having acquired a large plot of land in the Sidi Mghait region south of the city of Asilah (Tangier province). But this plot will not house an "ocean-front resort" with a hotel, a prestigious seaside resort, and several private villas.
"It is true that I have bought a plot of land south of Asilah. I am building a personal vacation home there. This has nothing to do with a so-called resort," clarified the former Managing Director of the International Monetary Fund (IMF).
