Former Health Minister Ousted from Morocco’s PPS Party Amid Internal Dispute

The former Minister of Health and member of the Political Bureau of the Party of Progress and Socialism (PPS) is no longer a member of the party, the day after a meeting of the Bureau, which was held on October 23, 2019.
According to Alyaoum 24, Anass Doukkali was asked to apologize, but he refused to submit to this "humiliation".
Despite the publication of this information, the party is not ready to confirm it because it considers that it has other more important obligations at the moment, it indicated to the Huffpost, specifying however that the information would be clarified by the members of the party if it is confirmed.
It all started with the meeting organized to record the party’s exit from the governing coalition. Unanimously, the majority had voted not to be part of the Government anymore, leading to a virulent reaction from Doukkali, who accused the leaders of having falsified the results of the vote.
In reaction, Doukkali had announced his departure from the party on October 7, but promised to remain there as a simple member.
