Flight to Morocco Delayed 8 Hours at Strasbourg Airport, Passengers Stranded

Initially scheduled to take off at 11:30 a.m., a plane bound for Fez, Morocco, finally departed at 6:13 p.m. from Strasbourg-Entzheim airport, with a delay of just under 8 hours.
Takeoff with more than six hours delay. This is the delay too much for a plane bound for Fez, Morocco. At 11:30 a.m. when the pilot was supposed to take off the 186-seat plane, no aircraft from the low-cost airline Air Zrabia was on hand, reports lalsace.fr.
According to the explanations of Thomas Dubus, the Director of Strasbourg-Entzheim Airport, "the plane was delayed on its rotations at the beginning of the day" due to the density of air traffic at this time. The aircraft landed on the Alsatian tarmac "more than six hours late".
Meanwhile, a meal was served to the passengers at the airport, adds the same source.
The announcement of a new delay to the passengers provoked the anger of the passengers. In the aisles, "it’s a massacre, an anxiety attack, crying children," described a traveler who said the police were on site. The aircraft finally took off at 6:13 p.m.
