Flight Diverted as Passengers Turn Aggressive on Amsterdam-Marrakech Route

A Transavia flight connecting Amsterdam to Marrakech was forced to turn back on Wednesday due to the aggressive behavior of two passengers.
The plane, which had taken off from Schiphol airport just after 5pm, turned back over the Franco-Belgian border to return to its departure airport.
According to a spokesperson for the airline, the two individuals did not comply with the instructions of the cabin crew and adopted an aggressive behavior.
The Dutch police, in charge of the investigation, confirmed this information, specifying that the passengers were disembarked from the aircraft upon arrival at Schiphol and that a complaint was filed against them.
While the exact reason for this altercation has not been officially communicated, a witness on board indicated that a disagreement would have broken out following the refusal of the two passengers to occupy the seats that had been assigned to them.
Transavia indicated that the aircraft had been able to take off again for Marrakech around 7:30 pm.
