Final Ferry from Morocco to France Departs as Border Closure Continues

Some countries continue to repatriate their nationals from Morocco, although the Moroccan government has decided to close its air, sea and land borders, as part of the national strategy to fight coronavirus.
The French embassy in Morocco has thus announced the organization of a new departure to France, dedicated to the transport of caravans registered in Europe. The ferry is scheduled to make the trip this Thursday from the port of Tanger-Med.
Furthermore, according to the embassy’s statements, the stay of French nationals, stranded in Morocco due to the state of emergency, has been extended by 3 months.
It should be noted that no arrangements have been made so far to try to repatriate the tens of thousands of Moroccans stranded at international airports.
