FIFA validates the arrival of two players in the Moroccan national team
The Royal Moroccan Football Federation has registered two high-profile reinforcements from Europe. FIFA has validated the changes in sports nationality of Mounir Chouiar and Aymean el Hani, allowing their immediate integration into the A’ team in Qatar and the U20 world champions.
Tarik Sektioui’s squad for the Arab Cup is strengthened with the arrival of Mounir Chouiar. The winger from Renaissance de Berkane, a former French youth international, has been called up to reinforce the attacking sector of the Atlas Lions during the tournament organized in Qatar from December 1 to 18.
The 26-year-old player has landed in Doha to join the group preparing for their opening match against the Comoros this Tuesday. This call-up marks his first international experience with Morocco.
The next generation is also assured among the youth. Aymean el Hani, a goalkeeper trained at the Ajax Amsterdam academy, has decided to represent his country of origin. A Dutch international at the under-18 level, he resisted the pressure of the Netherlands federation to join the Moroccan under-20 team, recently crowned world champions in Chile. He will play alongside other promising players such as Yanis Benchaouch and Ibrahim Gomis.
