FIFA Sparks Outrage in Morocco Over World Cup Poster Featuring Sacred Site

Moroccan internet users were shocked by a post by the Fédération Internationale de Football Association (FIFA) on its Instagram account. The organization used a photo of the doors of the Mohammed V mausoleum to create the announcement poster for the 2022 Qatar World Cup.
Less than a year before the next World Cup to be held in Qatar, the Fédération Internationale de Football Association (FIFA) has already launched its promotional campaign. But an error crept into the announcement poster for the event. The organization used a photo of the doors of the Mohammed V mausoleum to create this visual support.
The element aroused the indignation of Moroccans on social networks, who launched a boycott campaign under the hashtag #BoycottFifa. Some internet users called for the intervention of the Minister of Youth, Culture and Communication, Mehdi Bensaid, and the President of the Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF) and member of the FIFA Council, Fouzi Lekjaa, so that the photo be corrected.
Which was done. FIFA has already deleted the post from its Instagram account.
