A second ferry for French citizens, European citizens and permanent residents in France, traveling in a vehicle registered in Europe. In a message posted on its website, the French Embassy in Morocco specifies that this ferry will leave Tanger Med on January 24, 2022 to dock in Marseille, without however specifying the exact schedule.
It also states that registration is required per vehicle and per person. Those wishing to make the trip must fill out a form. This form provides information on the wishes of these people. Once registered on the list, they will be called by the shipping company to purchase their ticket.
The diplomatic representation also recalls that special flights and crossings operate only in the Morocco-France direction. In the event of leaving Moroccan territory, and until further notice, given the suspension by the Moroccan authorities of flights to Morocco, people residing in Morocco will no longer be able to return there, it warns.
The first special ferry will depart from Tanger Med this Wednesday, January 19, 2022. The company La Méridionale is therefore ensuring the Tanger Med-Marseille maritime link.
