In a press release, AML specifies that it has mobilized significant resources to operate the Tanger Med-Algeciras and Tanger Ville - Tarifa maritime lines, with a daily capacity of more than 30,000 passengers and 7,000 vehicles per day, while ensuring a quality service during this operation. The company is operating the new Tanger Ville - Tarifa line this summer with two ships, Morocco Express 1 and Maria Dolores, each with a capacity of 650 passengers and 70 vehicles, the same source adds, stating that about twenty daily departures are ensured on this line. As for the Tanger Med - Algeciras line, four vessels including three conventional and one fast ferry are operating with capacities ranging from 750 to 1,200 passengers and from 200 to 400 vehicles per boat, ensuring 26 daily crossings, the same source said.
Furthermore, the CTM-Stena Line alliance opens up new prospects for AML, which aims to play a leading role in the formation of a strong and competitive national maritime fleet to connect continents and peoples, and confirm its ambition to become the leading regional player in the maritime transport of people and goods, the press release adds. AML has already put in place an ambitious roadmap to improve the customer experience, particularly in terms of pricing policy, digitization, on-board services and operational processes, with the aim of offering an improved and adapted offer to the specific needs of the targeted clienteles.
