Fatal Stabbing at Moroccan Wedding Shocks Taounate Community

After his crime, the young man fled towards the commune of Bouchabl where he was arrested by the judicial police elements of the Ba Mohammed police station, then placed in custody. The victim, seriously injured in the neck, was transported in critical condition to the university hospital in Fez where he finally died.

An investigation has been opened to determine the circumstances and motives of this crime which has caused sadness and emotion among the guests and residents. This crime comes a few days after the murder of a woman by her husband at their home in Fez. The victim had requested a divorce for domestic violence, which prompted the husband to stab her with a knife.
