Fashion Elite Gather in Marrakech for Designer Fabio Encinar’s Birthday Extravaganza

Marrakech hosted the celebration of the birthday of Fabio Encinar, a highly regarded Spanish fashion designer, last weekend. Nearly 70 guests, including businesswoman Sofía Paramio, model Miriam Sánchez or designer Diego Estrada, were at this event described on social networks as a "FabioFest", which lasted all weekend.

Most of the guests stayed at the Riad ’Casa Abacadabra’, owned by Inés Bultó and her cousin, Bruno Oliver Bultó, which was exclusively reserved for the designer and his friends who arrived in the Moroccan city throughout the week. On Friday evening, Fabio Encinar organized a welcome dinner for his guests at the prestigious traditional cuisine restaurant "Al Baraka", located on the Jamaa el Fna square, reports Vanitatis.

The next day, they visited other local cuisine restaurants in Marrakech such as "Le Jardin" and "Nomad", and also went downtown to visit the Yves Saint Laurent museum or shop at the souk to prepare for the big Saturday night event under the theme: "The 70s: Morocco meets YSL and Studio 54". The high-end fashion guests dressed in Turkish tunics, djellabas or current models by designer Fabio.

The high-end "fashion" evening, which was prepared for a year, has a very special meaning for Fabio Encinar who is a lover of Morocco. Sources close to the designer have confided that he feels at home in Morocco, which he visits regularly for nearly a decade, mainly the cities of Tangier, Asilah and Marrakech.
