Far-Right Vox Party Vows to Halt 'Moroccan Influence' in Spanish Enclave of Ceuta

The president of Vox, Santiago Abascal, announced that his party wants to win the municipal elections next Sunday in Ceuta in order to curb the "Moroccanization" that the autonomous city has undergone in recent years.

Vox wants to repeat the feat of 2019 when it obtained 35% of the votes in the general elections in Ceuta. It is with this in mind that Abascal went to the autonomous city in the final stretch of the election campaign for the municipal elections of May 28, to send a strong message to his activists and supporters.

"Ceuta has never been Morocco, it is Spain. And it will never be Morocco if Vox governs. Enough of the annexationist attempts and enough of these Spanish traitors turned Moroccan lackeys who work against our territorial integrity and our sovereignty," said the leader of the far-right party, declared "persona non grata" in Ceuta.

Abascal deplored the "change" in Ceuta that he compares to Beirut, the capital of Lebanon or to Hernani in the Basque Country, this due to the number of police officers who have been following him since his arrival in the city. The Vox leader did not fail to criticize the management of President Juan Vivas, "Sanchez’s man in Ceuta", who is working with him for the "Moroccanization" of the city.
