Family Demands Repatriation of British-Australian Businessman Buried in Morocco

The family of 47-year-old British-Australian businessman Allen McKenna, who died and was buried in Casablanca, not far from his Moroccan wife Majda Mjaoual’s home, on February 22, is demanding the repatriation of his body.
"What the family wants is to get Allen back... we don’t care about his possessions, we just want him to come back, we don’t want him in Morocco. Either we bring him back to England or Australia... we don’t even know where he’s buried in Morocco at the moment," pleaded Paul Gray, 57, McKenna’s half-brother, who lives in West Yorkshire. According to him, Allen’s body was buried in Morocco, but his wife has not revealed where he was interred. "We have a grieving family, we just want him back," Paul added.
The businessman’s family is receiving consular assistance from the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade. The British Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office is also not indifferent to the family’s pain. "We are supporting the family of a British national following his death in Morocco and are in contact with local authorities," a representative of the British Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office told News Corp Australia.
Allen McKenna, 47, a company director in the UK, died under mysterious circumstances in Morocco at the home of his 27-year-old Moroccan-born wife Majda Mjaoual on February 22 while on vacation with her. His spouse went to their room late at night and found him lying in bed and he had turned "blue". "He couldn’t breathe and I thought he was dying at that moment. Then we called the ambulance, the doctor... they couldn’t take him because he was a foreigner... the first doctor came and pronounced him dead," Majda told the same media.
