A new loan has just been granted to Morocco by the Arab Fund for Economic and Social Development (FADES). This concerns, among other things, the road link between the cities of Tiznit and Dakhla, passing through Laâyoune.

Morocco Secures $5 Billion in Development Funding from Arab Fund Since 1974
10 February 2022, by ArmelBetween 1974 and 2020, the Arab Fund for Economic and Social Development (AFESD) has mobilized an amount of $5 billion for Morocco, making the kingdom its second largest client after Egypt.
Created in 1971, the AFESD aims to support Arab countries in their economic and social development through loans, technical assistance and grants, becoming a strategic partner of Morocco.
