Everton Eyes Free Transfer for Ajax’s Moroccan Star Mazraoui

Frank Lampard, Everton’s new manager, wants to secure the services of Moroccan international Noussair Mazraoui, whose contract with Ajax expires in less than six months.
Everton is active in strengthening its team. After recruiting Scottish international Nathan Patterson and Ukrainian Vitalii Mykolenko last January, the English club is showing interest in Moroccan international Noussair Mazraoui. The Blues are one of the many Premier League clubs interested in the Moroccan winger and have Aston Villa and Leicester City as competitors, reports Fichajes. The latter are ready to conclude a quick transfer deal.
Everton, who are fighting for the top six places, need a player of the caliber of the Atlas Lion to achieve good performances. Noussair Mazraoui has scored five goals and provided two assists in 17 Eredivisie championship matches this season. The English club could have the chance to recruit him, as the Ajax star is ready to leave the Ajacides. "The chances of staying at Ajax are very low, maybe 5%. I’m open to novelty. I’ve been playing here for 16 years and I think it’s the right time to leave Ajax," the 24-year-old player had said.
