Europol Shuts Down Major Illegal IPTV Service, Affecting Millions Including Moroccan Users

Thousands of Moroccans who are fans of movies, series and Internet television (IPTV) have recently been affected by an action by European law enforcement. Europol and the Dutch Fiscal Information and Investigation Service (FIOD) have dismantled one of the largest illegal IPTV services in Europe.
This network, offering access to thousands of TV channels, movies and series in complete illegality, had more than a million users, including thousands in Morocco or among Moroccans around the world.
The IPTV service in question, whose name has not been disclosed, allowed its subscribers to benefit from more than 10,000 live TV channels and a selection of 15,000 movies, series and TV shows for a few euros per month. However, the large-scale operation has put an end to these activities, leading to the arrest of several individuals suspected of being linked to this illegal streaming.
