Essaouira Tops List of Morocco’s Most Beautiful Coastal Cities for 2024

Essaouira is the best coastal destination in Morocco, according to this ranking. Cities like Agadir, Tangier, Casablanca and El Jadida are also included in Liligo’s Top 5, based on rigorous criteria, including the quality of infrastructure, cultural richness, cleanliness, accessibility and the overall experience of visitors.

The City of the Trade Winds is ranked as the top coastal city in Morocco for its UNESCO-listed medina, its fine sandy beaches, its authentic charm and its enchanting setting. Liligo particularly highlights Essaouira’s pleasant climate throughout the year, as well as the old medina, with its alleys, whitewashed walls and unique blue doors.
