ESJ Paris Launches First Arabic Online Journalism Program in Morocco

The École Supérieure de Journalisme de Paris (ESJ) has decided to open its first journalism and communication "SSJC" training program remotely in Arabic. A decision that takes into account "the central position of Morocco both for Africa and the Arab world", and especially because "Morocco has all the technological resources for this type of online training".
In the 1920s, Mohamed Belhassan Ouazzani was the first Moroccan journalist to graduate from this great school. The idea of starting such training in Morocco has countless indisputable reasons. In an interview with the MAP, the President of ESJ Paris, Guillaume Jobin, talks about the establishment of this school since 2008 as a kind of success. For him, it was the discovery, on a personal level, of an endearing world, in line with his values.
The decision to launch the first distance learning program in Arabic, in journalism and communication "SSJC" from ESJ Paris from Morocco was well thought out. "The speakers are all Arabic-speaking professionals, communication actors or journalists from all Arab countries. Our first teacher to arrive is Yemeni, and the first student, Saudi," he detailed.
This training is an opportunity offered by the ESJ to those who cannot travel because they have family problems, limited financial resources, and other obstacles such as border closures, but aspire to work in communication or journalism, or intend to enrich their talents in these areas. "For example, this year we have two lawyers and a neurologist," says the President of the ESJ, to show that the school is intended for all those who wish it, regardless of their origin, their profession, reports the MAP.
It is a great school that has a very good reputation around the world. In 120 years of existence, it has trained many personalities, French and international journalists and authors who earn their living as media executives. Since 2009, the ESJ has had a secondary establishment in Rabat and in 2012, it opened a publishing subsidiary called "Casa Express éditions", specializing in books by journalists distributed in Europe and the Maghreb.
