Engie to Sell Stake in Morocco’s Largest Coal Plant by 2027, Shifting to Renewables

The French energy giant Engie has announced its intention to sell its stake in the Safi (SAFIEC) coal-fired power plant, the largest in Morocco. This divestment, planned by 2027, is part of the group’s strategy to focus on renewable energy and energy infrastructure.
