US Embassy Donates Protective Equipment to Morocco’s National Health Institute

The United States, through its diplomatic mission in Morocco, has just donated a batch of protective materials and equipment. This donation was handed over on Tuesday to the National Institute of Health in Rabat.
A statement from the US Embassy in Rabat indicates that a batch of protective equipment for the laboratory staff of the National Institute in Rabat was handed over. It was the Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) office that carried out the handover.
These equipment are intended to protect the frontline personnel in the fight against the coronavirus, which will allow them to continue their work in complete safety, the statement said.
This equipment donation is part of the good cooperative relations between the Moroccan government and the US agency DTRA. A seven-year cooperation that is invested in guaranteeing the security of the two countries.
For the US Ambassador to Rabat, David T. Fischer, this delivery of protective materials "is a concrete example of the community of interests between Morocco and the USA".
