Elbit to Showcase Surveillance Drones, Strike Weapons and Aircraft Protection Systems in Marrakech
Drones for surveillance, munitions for attacks and systems to protect aircraft: Elbit has detailed the equipment it will present at the Marrakech Air Show. The Israeli defense company is taking part in the show for the first time. It will be held from 7 to 10 October.

On the eve of the opening, CTech outlined the manufacturer’s program at the Royal Moroccan Air Force base in Marrakech. Elbit will bring together surveillance, strike and protection capabilities, as well as communications and pilot training tools.

The Hermes 900 will be among the main aircraft on display. The drone is designed to carry out intelligence and surveillance missions, on land and at sea. Elbit will also bring several families of autonomous systems, including the THOR, Magni-X and FireFox-X.
To locate targets, the company will also showcase the SPECTRO-12, the latest model in its range of multispectral electro-optical sensors. This equipment combines several types of sensors to detect, identify and track targets. It can therefore provide the information needed for a surveillance operation or a strike.
This second function will have a prominent place at the stand. Elbit will exhibit the SkyStriker, a loitering munition capable of searching for a target before attacking it, as well as the PULS multiple rocket launcher. The Lizard systems, designed for precision laser guidance, will round out the offering.
Equipment to protect aircraft, too
The PULS is already known in Morocco. The FAR’s tests of the rocket launcher were reported in March 2025. Its presence in Marrakech will give the manufacturer an opportunity to present the system to the military delegations expected at the show. The announcement published on 6 October concerns the equipment on display and does not mention a new Moroccan order.
Alongside weapons, Elbit will present the MINI MUSIC. This infrared countermeasure system is designed to protect aircraft and helicopters from heat-seeking missiles. According to the manufacturer, it belongs to a family of systems designed to disrupt the guidance of these missiles.
The company will also offer onboard communications technologies, simulators and pilot training solutions. Its program therefore also covers the tools needed to prepare crews and exchange information during missions.
Elbit will join other Israeli defense companies in Marrakech, including IAI, Rafael, Xtend and UVision. Their participation follows the military cooperation launched after relations between Rabat and Tel Aviv were normalized, and the signing of a defense agreement in November 2021.
