EBRD and Moroccan Bank Launch €15 Million Program to Boost Women Entrepreneurs

The Moroccan Bank for Commerce and Industry (BMCI) and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) are joining hands to promote female entrepreneurship.
The "Women in business" program, initiated for the cause, has been launched by the two banking institutions. It is endowed with a line of 15 million euros. According to La vie éco, this initiative aims to provide financial support to women entrepreneurs.
The financing granted is accompanied by technical assistance targeting the specific needs of these women. This technical component is provided by direct aid from the European Union, the same source specifies.
