Earthquake in Morocco: here is the detailed toll of victims

The devastating earthquake that struck the province of Al Haouz on Friday evening left behind a heavy toll of 820 dead and 672 injured, "including 205 seriously," according to a statement from the Ministry of the Interior issued at 10 a.m. Saturday (Moroccan time).
The province of Al Haouz is the most affected with 394 deaths, followed by the province of Taroudant with 271 deaths. Other regions, notably Chichaoua, Ouarzazate and Marrakech, have also suffered human losses.
The Secretary General of the Directorate General of Internal Affairs at the Ministry of the Interior provided a detailed assessment during a press conference. According to the official, the victims are spread across various regions, including a few deaths reported as far as Agadir Ida Outanane and Greater Casablanca.
Faced with this disaster, a major mobilization is underway. The Royal Armed Forces, local authorities, law enforcement and civil protection teams "continue to mobilize all intervention resources to provide the necessary assistance and assess the damage," the same official source said. The authorities seem to be in a race against time to rescue the victims.
