Dutch-Moroccan Model Touriya Haoud Reveals Near-Fatal Health Scare During Morocco Trip

The Dutch model of Moroccan origin, Touriya Haoud, has recounted an episode that almost cost her her life. She talks about it at length in an interview.
In June 2019, while on vacation in Morocco, she had noticed swelling in her neck. The actress of "Chouf chouf habibi" does not panic and attributes it all to the stress of her separation. Touriya Haoud has always had to struggle, and still struggles today, with skin problems like eczema and itching.
"Because I had been very stressed with my ex, especially about the future of my children, I thought it was just a reaction of my body. So I didn’t worry about it." A serious mistake, she realized a little later.
However, this swelling in the neck did not go away and Touriya feels that something is wrong, especially with the weight loss. "I weighed 45 kilos and walking had become very difficult for me," she continues. She finally returned to Los Angeles, the city where she has lived for many years. "I took the plane in a wheelchair, because I could no longer walk on my own."
As soon as she arrived in the United States, she went to the emergency room in a hospital, where she was immediately taken care of. "The doctors were adamant. If I hadn’t gone to the emergency room that day, I would probably have died from organ failure." It was cancer.
Today, she has finished her chemotherapy and feels much better. "Officially, you are declared definitively cured only after 5 years. So I have to undergo quite frequent check-ups," she concludes.
