Dutch Influencer Arrested in Morocco Over ’Indecent’ TV Outfit, Netherlands Offers Legal Aid

Armani L’Goumani, the Dutch woman of Moroccan origin blocked in Morocco for having worn an outfit deemed "indecent" during her participation in the Moroccan version of the Blind Date show, will receive legal assistance from the Dutch authorities, the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs has announced.
According to RTL Nieuws, the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs, informed of the influencer’s situation, has instructed its embassy in Rabat to provide her with legal assistance.
Armani L’Goumani was arrested in Morocco just as she was about to board a flight to the Netherlands. She is accused of "intentional nudity and indecency" for wearing indecent and provocative outfits during her participation in the Blind Date show, the Dutch-language newspaper notes, stressing that these acts are punishable in Morocco by a sentence of up to two years in prison.
The Moroccan-origin influencer is currently staying in an apartment in Morocco. She is awaiting the conclusions of the investigation opened by the Moroccan judicial authorities. Armani hopes not to go to prison and that she will be allowed to return to the Netherlands.
