Dozens of Sheep Discovered in Nice Apartment Ahead of Eid al-Adha, Police Investigate

About forty sheep would have been found in an apartment in the Liserons district of Nice, according to Anthony Borré, first deputy mayor of the city.
These facts were confirmed by the Alliance Police nationale des Alpes-Maritimes union, reports BFM TV, specifying that it was the Anti-Crime Brigade (BAC) that was behind this discovery.
Describing the place as a "wild slaughterhouse", the president of the Republicans, Éric Ciotti, also called for severe sanctions against the perpetrators, including their eviction from social housing.
According to the same source, the two arrested persons would not be the tenants of this apartment but squatters. As for the sheep that survived this grim affair, they were entrusted to a farmer.
