Dozens of Repatriated Moroccans Hospitalized for Food Poisoning After Return

Back in the country after being stuck abroad for more than 3 months, some 51 repatriates were victims of food poisoning. A collective meal consumed on Thursday, July 3, would be the cause of this tragedy.
These 51 victims of this food poisoning were immediately taken care of by a specialized medical and nursing staff at the Hassan II Regional Hospital in Agadir, reports the MAP.
After a few days of intensive care at the hospital, the majority of the victims returned to the hotel complex to continue the quarantine. According to the same source, only two cases are still under clinical observation.
In addition, a monitoring cell has been set up by the regional health directorate of Souss-Massa, in collaboration with the prefecture of Agadir Ida-Outanane. It wishes to closely monitor these cases and ensure the food safety of the various meals presented to the repatriates and the various residents of the hotel units in the city.
