Dozens of Moroccan Police Officers Sanctioned for Exam Cheating Scandal

Disciplinary and corrective measures have been taken by the General Directorate of National Security (DGSN) against around forty police officers. They are accused of cases of exam fraud.
According to the press release, the suspicions of fraud stem from the observation of the correction commission of the exams, which reports a great similarity between the copies of the candidates and the answers disseminated on the internet. An administrative investigation was then initiated at the same time as a disciplinary procedure which resulted in sanctions against any person involved in these professional transgressions.
The announcement of these disciplinary and corrective measures is part of the implementation of the provisions of the new Charter of Employment of the General Directorate of National Security, which is based on the fight against fraud methods, the press release also specifies.
To strengthen transparency during access exams to police training courses, it is recalled in the note, the DGSN has adopted several preventive mechanisms by strengthening control and surveillance measures in order to guarantee equal opportunities.
