Dozens Escape as Bus Bursts into Flames at Moroccan Rest Stop

A serious traffic accident that occurred yesterday narrowly avoided casualties. Indeed, a bus carrying several dozen passengers caught fire at a rest area of a service station in Dcheïra.
According to the website le360, dozens of passengers were saved from certain death, on Monday morning at the rest area of a service station in Dcheïra, in the Agadir region, when the bus transporting them caught fire before being completely burned.
It appears that the reasons behind this incident have not yet been elucidated. However, the bus, which was coming from the city of Taroudant and heading to Inezgane and Agadir before continuing its journey to Casablanca, was completely consumed during a stop at a service station.
On the spot, the driver and his assistant quickly proceeded to evacuate the bus occupants. The only minor incident was "a passenger fainted due to the dense smoke from the fire and was able to receive first aid on site," the media recalls, adding that an investigation has been opened under the supervision of the competent prosecutor’s office.
