Disney+ Launches in Morocco and 15 Other Arab Countries, Expanding Streaming Footprint

The Disney + streaming platform is now available in Morocco. It launched its service in the Middle East and North Africa on Wednesday.

Good news for young Moroccans (and their parents). Disney + is now operational in 16 Arab countries. The streaming platform says it has adapted its content to the region, in particular by offering Arabic subtitles on most offerings, especially popular content. "... Disney + is entering the Middle East and North Africa region at a wonderful time. Compared to other streaming markets, ours is still in its infancy and we have the unique opportunity to grow with it," Tamim Fares, Disney + director for the region, said in a statement emailed to Reuters.

Now available on the service are Marvel series such as Hawkeye and Moon Knight, with Oscar Isaac and directed by Egyptian filmmaker Mohamed Diab, as well as the Star Wars series "The Book of Boba Fett".
