US Defense Contract: Raytheon to Repair Anti-Radar Missiles for Morocco and Turkey

The US Department of Defense has concluded a $9,075,931 contract with Raytheon to repair 155 high-speed anti-radar missiles for the benefit of Morocco and Turkey.
This American company will provide repair and maintenance services for the 155 high-speed anti-radar missiles, with the support of the Royal Moroccan Air Force, reports Morocco world news.
This latest contract adds to a $768,283,907 contract signed by Raytheon to produce AMRAAM missiles and other equipment for several countries, including Morocco. Raytheon will deliver the AMRAAM missiles to Morocco in February 2023.
Morocco and the United States are further strengthening their military collaboration, with a series of signed contracts. The military agreement between the two countries aims to develop the Royal Moroccan Armed Forces and strengthen their expertise.
The United States is Morocco’s main supplier of military equipment. In 2019, the kingdom acquired arms from its American partner for $10.3 billion, according to data from the Arms Trade Forum of the US Foreign Military Sales program.
